Born in a tobacco shed

In 1946, 21-year-old James S. Herr bought a small Lancaster chip company for $1,750. A year later he moved it into a tobacco shed on the family farm. Eight decades on, the Herr family still runs the show, and Nottingham, PA has been home since 1952.
